Yorkie PuppiesYorkie was registered at American Kennel Club in 1966, as Toy Group. They grow up to in 5-8 inches in height and can weigh around 8 pounds. They have long, shiny and smooth hairs. Their muzzles are medium in shape. The body is small in size, but still the head of Yorkie is well in proportion. In the puppy hood their color is normally tan or black, but after fully grown up it converts into blue on tail and body. They can live up to 13-16 years. Yorkies are very much familiar as toy puppies. They cannot survive in cold weather as they are very much sensitive, needs warm weather. History: Yorkie Puppies was originally
founded in Northen England first. It is considered that they were crossed
between Dinmont Terriers and Dandie, The Maltese, Tan with Black
Manchester. Because of thier ong hair it is assumed that they were even
cross breed with blue gray long coated waterside terriers along with
Scottish Terriers. Yorkie becomes angry if teased or harassed. However, these puppies are affectionate, sweet and lovely. They often play with the belongings of their master, so one has to take care of it. Health and Exercise: Yorkie Puppies are prone to bronchitis, fall of teeth that can occur in their early age. Thus they must be given highly nutritious food, full of vitamins and proteins or else go to the breeder for suitable diet chart. Do not forget to give them dry mixed food also. Yorkie do not need mush more exercise as they are city dogs Grooming: Yorkie Puppies teeth needs cleaning on regular basis, as they are susceptible to bronchitis. They must be brushed and combed daily. Requirements for a new puppy: Yorkie are dependent on others so need lot of care and attention personally. If done more pampering will make them confused. One should ask diet sheet from breeder for nourishing diet to provide them. Teeth cleaner, brush and comb is also required.
